The production process of acrylic sheets includes the following steps:

Raw material preparation:

Select high-quality acrylic raw materials, usually polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) pellets or resins. These pellets or resins may be colored or contain additives as per requirements.

Thermoplastic process:

Place the acrylic pellets or resins into a thermoplastic machine and heat them to the melting temperature. In the molten state, the acrylic material can be molded and shaped.

Extrusion or injection molding:

Depending on the desired outcome, either an extrusion or injection molding machine can be used to form acrylic sheets. In the extrusion process, the molten acrylic material is continuously extruded through a die or extrusion head and forms a sheet upon cooling. Similarly, in injection molding, a closed mold is used, and molten acrylic material is injected into the mold to form sheets.

Cooling and curing:

Cutting and trimming:

Surface treatment:
